Thanks for visiting Space to Play, a FREE directory of rehearsal spaces in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight for young people aged 14-24. This site is our home, come and check it out and have a look at the features...you might find something useful! We'll endeavour to keep this site as up to date as possible with new things happening all the time...

Space to Play has been working with rehearsal rooms in Hampshire, the Isle of Wight and the surrounding areas to provide places for you, and your band to practice.

Five Pounds?

The rehearsal spaces listed on this website are all offering a limited amount of rehearsal time at a flat rate of £5 per hour. You need to make sure you mention Space to Play when booking your rehearsal to make sure you get the special £5 rate. Most of the venues are offering addition rehearsal times at a non-discounted, but still quite reasonable, price if the Space to Play time is already booked.

Space to Play provides all the rehearsal spaces' contact details and, where available, an email link direct to the person responsible for booking the rooms. Remember, this is a directory service only so please do not contact us with booking enquiries. However, we would love to hear your comments or venue suggestions using the “contact us” page.

Space to Play is a not-for-profit scheme for young people in Southampton, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight and Portsmouth and relies on the support of the bands and the venues. Please respect your venue, others will be using the spaces after you.

More venues are signing up to the scheme every day so keep checking the map for more rehearsal spaces becoming available in your area.
